The Hemingway Chef Cook Off, which took place on February 18th, was organized by culinary legend Chris Salans and Disciples Escoffier Indonesia. The competition featured a mystery ingredient that added a unique twist to the already tantalizing 5 course Charity Gala Dinner, benefiting Bali Bersama Bisa, a collective of 10 NGOs dedicated to mental health and the support of Indonesia’s first and only suicide prevention helpline.

Kita ambil momentum hari kemerdekaan di hari ini acaranya dan kita juga adakan lomba-lomba khas 17-an di sini,” ujar Resort and Service Manager The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali, Ayin Purwati, Rabu 17 Agustus 2022.

150 ekor tukik yang dilepaskan berusia satu minggu dan sudah waktunya dilepas ke habitatnya yakni di laut. Kegiatan lepas tukik The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali hari ini terselenggara berkat kerja sama dengan Bali Sea Turtle Society. “Kita bekerja sama dengan Bali Sea Turtle Society tukik yang dilepaskan tadi sudah menetas seminggu lalu dan hari ini tepat tanggal 17 sudah waktunya dilepaskan ke laut,” tambah Ayin.

Sejumlah tamu hotel yang ikut serta dalam kegiatan lepas tukik pun mengaku senang mengikutinya. “Saya suka sekali dengan acara yang diadakan ini dan sangat menikmatinya,” kata Jasmine dan Connor. Bahkan tamu hotel asal Belanda ini kali pertama dirinya melakukan kegiatan seperti ini di Bali. “Ini benar-benar event yang sangat luar biasa. Senang bisa melihat tukik dan melepaskan mereka. Semoga mereka bisa bertahan dan melihat mereka bertumbuh,” ungkap Arn Esser.

Sementara perlombaan khas 17-an seperti makan kerupuk, lomba balap karung, lomba memecahkan balon dan tarik tambang diadakan di bibir pantai Sands Restaurant dan diikuti oleh para tamu hotel. Sebagai apresiasi kepada para pemenang atau peserta diberikan hadiah berupa souvenir The Anvaya Beach Resort Bali dan sejumlah voucher gratis.

Founder Kuta Beach Sea Turtle Conservation Center (KBSTCC) I Gusti Ngurah Tresna, mengatakan siklus hidup penyu ini nantinya akan kembali lagi ke tempat pertama penyu tersebut menetas. “Habitat penyu ada di tengah laut, 60 jam berenang, empat hari tidak makan berenang terus, nantinya 25 tahun kemudian akan kembali ke tempat menetas,” demikian kata Ngurah Tresna.

The ANVAYA swing launched firstly on 14th of February 2019 at the three different locations; by the beach, at the beach front private pool and on the main pool. The entire team of The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali is honoured to announce that in its second year in operation the resort has been awarded its second Gold Medal at the Tri Hita Karana Awards 2018. The ceremony was held on Friday, 30 November 2018 at Gedung Ksirarnawa Art Centre Denpasar.

The award was bestowed after conducting several assessments of the resort’s products, services and facilities. Tri Hita Karana is the Balinese philosophy that underpins the three essential relationships in human life. Parahyangan is harmony between humans and God, Pawongan is harmony between humans and fellow humans and Palemahan is about maintaining harmony between humans and the environment.

The head of the Tri Hita Karana Awards 2018 committee, Wisnu Wardana, presented the Gold Medal to I Wayan Puspa Adi, Director of Engineering of The ANVAYA Beach Resort Bali. Separately, Didi Marsinta Ari, The ANVAYA’s Public Relations Manager, took the 2nd runner-up position of PR Simpatik 2018.
